As of Thursday, June 5th, at 2:46pm the national weather service is saying a high of 91 with isolated thunder storms throughout the day.

We will do everything we can to start and complete the race on Saturday.  With that being said, it will be our policy to run the race as weather allows.  This means we will run the cars when weather is good.  We will delay the racing when weather is bad.  Then we will restart when the weather breaks again. 

Similar to a day on the golf course...if we can race through it we will.  If we need to delay the racing for twenty minutes or so because of heavy rain or lightening, we will delay it and commence once we can. 

With the amount of setup, volunteers and assets that need to be in place we simply have to keep trying to run the race throughout the day as best we can keeping everyone's safety in mind when the threat of bad weather arises. 

In the event the weather simply does not allow us to run the race, we will use Sunday, June 8th as an alternate day.  If this decision is made, it will be announced at the track on Saturday, June 7th.
